10 Vital Things to Consider When Migrating an Oracle EBS(R12)

OCI Service Portfolio. Research new features that could simplify designing and determining applications and infrastructure .
Architecture and Topology of Current Environment. Collect all the information that directly affects architecture such as nodes, concurrent users, batch jobs, etc. This will help with deciding the requisite services and provide an approximate cost for such services. Check what options are available for database (DB) systems on OCI, and understand the differences between DB on Compute, Bare Metal, and Exadata.
Deployment Models at Oracle Cloud. Consider single and multi-region deployment (along with public, private, hybrid options). Product Licensing. Check licensing criteria with your Oracle sales representative because Oracle provides discounts and reuse of on-premises licenses.
